Apply to access UK trade with Brand Organic
Brand Organic are accepting brands at a maximum of three per quarter based on our assessment of your brand, the competition, commercials and launch proposal.
We sell to a wide variety of distributors and their retailers - for example;
Distributors: CLF Distribution, Stratford Fine Foods Essential, Suma, Wholegood, Hunts.
Retailers: Abel & Cole, Whole Foods Market, Planet Organic, Better Food, Ben’s Farm Shop, Morrisons, Amazon, The Vegan Kind and 1,000+ independent retailers nationwide.
Brand Organic provide a service to reach UK buyers. Our platform is a rare full service offer for brands serious about accessing the market. As such, we define ourselves as an Import Agency championing Import as a Service.
It is uncommon for distributors to have a sales team championing your product - this can be different to other international markets. You need to consider the management and investment of such activity via a dedicated brand marketing plan.

We typically onboard brands for a period of 3 months, during which time you will be lined up with an initial distributor.
Investing with Brand Organic
We’re one of the most lucrative FMCG markets in the world and with that comes the expense and commitment of launching a brand sustainably.
You will have to commit many years to build a brand here and commit to the cost of marketing the brand sufficiently to grow.
We look for brands who are financially stable, category disruptors in their own market and capable of committing to a long term investment plan, either from the operational profitability of the company or due to planned investment.
As a guide, you should consider a budget of £30,000 as a minimum per annum. There can be exceptions to this rule, say if you are targeting online marketplaces / e-commerce and have an internal team for online marketing.
While we aim to be flexible, we need to protect the reputation of our company with our customers and the shared reputation of our portfolio of brands. We need our suppliers to be committed to a long term plan.

If your brand is new to the UK / trading less than £100,000 in UK revenues, you may request access to our Accelerator initiative offering subsidised access to representation including trade shows and sales.
Before launch, you may request a detailed Market Appraisal using data driven approaches and our network to assessing your suitability in the UK. Our team carries decades of experience working with organic brands (as buyers, brokers and marketers) and have access to key buyers for crucial initial impressions.
How we compare
You can access the UK in a variety of ways. Forming your own company, going through the registrations and hiring can be slow, and not yield the results achieved by an agent. Recruiting a skilled, experienced team is expensive and setting up accounts with customers can take several years. Working with an individual, free of charge or at very low rates, while tempting can do more harm than good to a brand that is seen as not going anywhere fast.
Brand Organic is a speciality service provider with a skilled team. Strict processes across legal and compliance need to be constantly monitored, for every import and sale we make, and just like the services of other professionals (be it lawyers, accountants or designers) we come at a cost.
Compared to going alone or hiring multiple third party service providers, we offer competitive rates and access to an established network. If we appear too expensive, we would suggest your brand may not be ready for a launch in the UK. It was the failure of brands attempting to launch in the UK that inspired the launch of Brand Organic in 2018.
2022 saw us bridge the gap between the UK and EU due to post Brexit realities coming to life, and following investment from EcoFinia GmbH in Germany, we began to scale our team and our portfolio. We have high demand, and with trade deals being formed, the interest from further afield is rising.
