Introducing our Emerging Brands Initiative
Emerging Brands is for international brands who are new to the UK, and looking for a connected partner to test the market. Brand Organic act as your importer, ensuring your products are fit for sale in the UK.
Emerging Brands will get access to our agency team for certification, technical assistance and import, plus a listing with a distribution partner who supply over 500 stores including Planet Organic and Whole Foods Market.
This is offered to brands who can demonstrate ability to market their goods to customers in the UK, or have existing interest from customers in the UK. You'll be expected to perform business development in the UK and consider marketing opportunities as presented by our team. An initial launch promotional budget will be required so we can launch you with an initial distributor.
After an initial 6 month trial, we'll share the results of the launch and advise on suggested next steps for your brand in the UK, which could include a long term agency representation from Brand Organic.

Emerging Brands is offered to companies with less than £1m a year in revenues and is subject to the following requirements;
An investment of £6,000 allocated to external marketing for your brand.
Brand Organic must be included on labelling and amends to labelling maybe required by our technical team.
Landing products in the UK on DAP incoterms.
Pay as Sold terms - we'll pay for stock as payment is received from customers.
Providing a minimum of 250 samples for retailers.
Ability to create assets such as catalogue adverts, professional photography, trade presentations.
Your ability to provide business development in the UK to support your launch.
What does 6 months look like?
This campaign allows you to test the market with a limited budget. Emerging Brands is made for innovative brands with high growth potential, who could become a full agency client of Brand Organic in the future.
Month 1 - Samples Reviewed, Product Selections, Commercials Completed
Month 2 - Distributor Pitch Created, Technical Review Completed, Distributor Listing Agreed
Month 3 - Inventory Shipped to UK, First Purchase Order Received, Marketing Plan Booked
Month 4 - Distributor Listing Live, Launch Marketing Commences
Month 5 - Samples sent to 250 retailers, Key Retailer Campaign Commences
Month 6 - Feedback and Sales Data Generated, Results and Key Findings Report Generated
Signing up
If you are interested in joining Emerging Brands, you’ll need to sign an initial 6 month agreement and pay a marketing deposit (£2,000) so we can book launch marketing for the brand. The remaining marketing is due once the first purchase order has been received from a customer (Month 3).

How does Emerging Brands differ to the usual services from Brand Organic?
Brand Organic offer agency level import, brokerage and marketing services to our brand partners, providing a team for their UK activities. Our full agency services includes a turnkey service for brands including pitching to major retailers, managing customers, developing curated marketing plans and managing budgets. The full service offer from Brand Organic may be out of reach to smaller brands as it carries both retainer and marketing investment requirements, so Emerging Brands aims to provide a cost effective platform to test the market in a short space of time. It’s ideal for start-ups and future brands.
Why do I need to invest into marketing?
It is ultimately your decision to launch your brand, so the risk needs to be on your side. Brand Organic can provide you with a platform to reach customers and access to our UK network.
What happens after 6 months?
Depending on results, we may decide to continue supporting the brand at a similar level of investment, or discuss options for wider market activities. This will be a discussion with you after the initial 6 months, with recommendations from Brand Organic.
What chance is there of no sales being generated?
Since our launch in 2018, Brand Organic has a 100% success rate in getting listings and generating orders for brand partners. We only invite brands we are confident in achieving listings for.

What does the marketing investment include?
The marketing provides a range of effective marketing, including launch marketing with a large distributor across 3 months, a key retailer support package, inclusion in a sample box reaching 250 retailers, magazine feature, online editorial, and handing out samples at a trade event.
